How it works
Each image becomes one page, in the order shown above. Drag a page by its handle, or use the arrow buttons, which also work with a keyboard. The round arrow turns a page by 90 degrees.
JPG photos go into the PDF exactly as they are, without being saved again, so they keep their quality. The tool only removes their hidden data, such as the GPS location and the camera details. Other formats, like PNG, WebP or HEIC, are first drawn by your browser.
Which quality to choose
- Original when every detail matters, for example scans of documents or screenshots with small text. The file can get large.
- High for most cases. Photos stay as they are, and other images become JPG at a quality you will hardly notice.
- Smaller file when a form or an email has a size limit. Images are reduced to at most 2000 px, which is still enough for reading on a screen.
Tips for photos of documents
- Take the photo straight from above, in good light and without a shadow from your phone.
- Put the paper on a dark surface so the edges are easy to see.
- Choose A4 for documents you will print in Europe and Letter for the United States.
FAQ
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files never leave your device. The browser builds the PDF in this tab, and nothing is sent or saved. When you close the tab, the images are gone from the page.
Is there a limit?
Up to 50 images at a time, each up to 40 MB. For more pages, make two PDFs. Very large photos take longer, because your device does all the work.
Why is my PDF so large?
With Original and High, photos keep their full size, so the PDF is about as large as all the photos together. Choose Smaller file and create the PDF again.
Does the PDF include my location?
No. The tool removes EXIF data, including the GPS location, from JPG photos before it adds them, and images drawn by the browser carry no such data. The file name you type is the only name in the PDF.
The tool only uses the files you add. Nothing is sent or stored.
