How to use the checklists
Pick the list for what you are working on now and tick items as you go. Open an item with the plus sign to see why it matters and how to do it. Your progress is saved in this browser, separately for each list.
To share a list with your team or agency, copy it as text or print it. In the print window you can also save it as a PDF.
Which list first?
- Never ran ads: start with First campaign, then Tracking setup.
- Ads run, but results are unclear: start with Tracking setup.
- Ads get clicks, but few inquiries: go through Landing page.
- Planning a new website: send the Website build list to whoever collects the materials in your company.
Why tracking has its own list
In our work it is the part we most often find half done. A pixel that counts every purchase twice, a missing consent signal or events that were never marked as key events all look fine at first, but they teach the ad platforms the wrong thing. The Tracking Checker shows what your site sends today.
Good practice and platform rules
Most items are good practice from our own campaigns and projects. Where an item depends on a platform rule, such as consent signals, event deduplication or Core Web Vitals, it links to the official help page we checked in October 2026.

Do I need every item?
No. These are good practice, not laws. Skip what does not fit your business, but think twice before you skip tracking and consent items.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, but only in this browser. If you clear browser data or open the page on another device, the lists start empty. Reset clears one list at a time.
How current are the platform rules?
We checked the platform specific items in the official help pages in October 2026, and each of them links to its source. Platforms change often, so open the link if something looks different in your account.
Can you do this for us?
Yes. Setting up tracking, landing pages and websites is our everyday work. Book a call and send us the list with what is already done.
The lists only use your ticks. They are saved in this browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us or anyone else. Platform rules checked in October 2026.
